Does my bill of sale need to be witnessed or notarized?

In most jurisdictions, a bill of sale does not require witness signatures and/or notarization. However, having one or two witnesses when the bill of sale is signed is better evidence that the parties entered into the bill of sale if the matter goes to ligation.

Does the Purchaser need to sign the bill of sale?

Generally speaking, the Purchaser doesn’t need to sign the bill of sale.

Does the jurisdiction for signing have to be the same as the location of the property?

No, the jurisdiction in which the agreement does not have to be the same as the jurisdiction in which the property is located.
